Somebody should grab this one....

Yes, they're kind of funny looking, but you'll have to search long and hard to find a guitar that feels better in your hands than this one and those little humbuckers kick butt!

I own a 360/12, a 360/6, a 660/12 and a 250 (same as this one except JG and double bound). Guess which one stays out of it's case and within arm's reach at all times?

I was thinking about it. I just find it, well...ugly. I'd rather get a 650.

Just doesn't say "Rickenbacker" to me. I can't imagine Pete Townshend or Johnny Marr playing one of them!

But maybe I'm not open minded enough. In fact yeah - I'm probably not open minded enough.

Some might say "a Rick is a Rick", Rob, but each to his own. I quite like both the guitar and the colour and I'm also thinking that the 200 series might be a bit of a rarity down here.

How are things, by the way? There's a chance that I may be dropping into the ol' dart next year on my way home from the US jaunt (round the world tickets being much the same cost as Oz to West Coast USA and back). Would you be up for a pint or two next October?

Sounds great. I'll keep you posted. I'm trying to remember the name of the pub where I had a couple of pints of Guinness in '02. The Leinster Arms.... Leicester Arms? Near Trafalgar Square, anyway.....

I could have recognised you in that picture easily Howard. But I must confess that the tan that you got in London threw me a bit!

That's a Tuscan tan, Peter. We spent 2 weeks near Florence prior to the London bleakness.... the weather, not the city!

Changed my mind on the 230. I've got enough to keep me going for the moment....

Geez Howard, you missed a perfect chance to quote Bowie here...

You know, the "... well hung, snow white ta-a-an" line... ;-)

Aitch, I thought that'd be humourous. Could've also gone with a Zappa-esque "Studio Tan" kinda thing too.

I miss the sun - been staying inside for too long (skin cancer on me bald head) lately. So I'm getting into hats these days.

Give me yor hat size and I'll bring you an official 'Rick' hat next year.

At this stage it looks like Cincinatti and/or Cleveland will be included in the itinerary.
