McGuinn 370

Post by dbailey62 »

I know this is in the wrong forum but I've not yet registered for "Rickenbackers for Sale" so I hope nobody minds me listing this sale here.

Thanks all,

David Bailey wrote Quote:Here we have the Rickenbacker 370 McGuinn Twelve String in Mapleglo. It's just like Roger used in the Byrds. If you know what you're looking at, then you know, these don't come up often, and this guitar is in excellent conditon, being a closet dweller for many years, since the early 90's.
I bought this one away back in '92, and traded it to a friend, who is a big Byrds freak. I'm a Beatle fanatic, and since have picked up a Rick 360 reissue which suits me.

My Byrds buddy has decided to sell, so here it is. I never had the papers, or original case, so you are paying for the guitar, (with recent Rickenbacker case), only. That should save you a lot of money, 'cause the certificate and paperwork would add up to make this really expensive. So you'll get a deal.... Hey ! You don't play the paper! This instrument is in near perfect shape, no dings or scrapes or scratches.

Please don't ask reserve, or to end this auction early. For now, no trades or offers please. The reserve is SHOCKINGLY low, and we would like to let the market speak.

Searching back, there are few if any examples of this guitar to be found for sale in recent past, here on eBay, or anywhere. Ownership of a Rickenbacker McGuinn 370 Twelve String is exclusive, Roger's fans are fanatic, and production of this model was small. Only 1,000 ever made....is that the fact? Anyway, it's got the built in compression and all that works, all the parts... YES! We do have the bridge cover. The entire guitar is completely original, right down to the last screw.

This instrument sold on eBay for $2700. US.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
