Picture of a silver tolex case

anyone have or know were i can see a picture of the silver tolex case for the 4003 bass? i cant find a picture of it anywere....thanks...Jim

Jim,
The silver tolex vintage style case sure looks cool but provides less protection as your bass may slip around in it because the interior is not "contoured" to the body shape of the bass.
Ask the dealer you're buying your 4003JG from if you can pay a little more for the silver vintage case if you insist on having one.
I only wish the silver case could have the same interior shaping like the standard SKB case. That would be the ultimate case for a 400x.
By the way, check ebay for "rickenbacker bass", the silver ones pop up sometimes.
