Good luck!

Sometimes you'll get lucky and find one at your local music store. Also, they pop up on ebay from time to time. Or post in the Rickenbackers Wanted section of this forum. The model was discontinued in 2002, so you probably won't find any new ones.

There are a LOT of them out there....just be ready when they come up and have $$$$ ready....you'll get one....it took a couple of years before I found my first one .... then they just kept coming!! I've owned 3 MG's, 3 FG's, and (GASP!) a seagreen! .... I've sold all of them , but there'll be others....

Ken, the Sea Green V63 is the rarest of the rare. Sea Greens are difficult to find; I dare say there maybe only two or three Sea Green basses among the forum members. I'd love to have one, but unless one suddenly pops up on eBay with a reasonable BIN and I'm on it in less than a minute of its listing, I haven't a chance. The V63 (or two) that belong to forum members are really rare. Wasn't 2000 the last year for the V63? If so, the Sea Green ones would be the only to combine the V63 features and a Color of the Year (which started in 2000 with Sea Green). Me likey!

Ken, It was in Mike Parks' "for sale" classified section....the fellow was only about 1/2 hour from me in Hagerstown...I called him...told him to hang onto it and I'd be there shortly....turns out it was a friend of my boss and he gave me a "good" deal on it....I owned it for maybe 6 months...got tired of it sitting there...in perfect condition...and sold it to a collector who would let it sit in HIS collection...probably unplayed....at least I know where it is....
