Markbass...any opinions?

Greetings all, anyone had any experiance with a rick bass and a markbass head....I am considering one for the weight alone...but have heard great things soundwise.

It depends on the kind of music you play. In my opinion, MB amps and cabinets are very good if you play funky and pop music, as they have a very clean and powerful low-end and killer brightness, but it's not the same with the middle range... so if you are into rock/hard rock maybe MB is not for you. Every time I played live through a MB rig (let's say 10 times) I felt uncomfortably with this kind of gap in the mid frequencies.

Years ago Markbass' name was "Parsek", and in my opinion they were much better than the new ones.
