Thumbrest for a V63
Any of you guys know where I could get a clear plastic thumbrest for a V63?

An improvement doesn't necessarily improve the value of an instrument. If you put a better bridge on a Ric because the standard Ric bridge was messing up, the value of the bass would drop siginificantly, especially if you had to rout the bass a bit to put the new bridge on. It doesn't matter whether it's a better bass now.

Wow, I have never heard of a v63 as being "collectible" in the sense that modding the pickguard would ruin its value. Maybe an original, but a vintage reissue series? My, the times have changed!
