Dead Pickup?

Post by imnoone »

I bought a hi-gain p'up on eBay that the owner claimed was 'functional'. When I got it, it was in terrible shape and the 'hot' wire snapped off at the hole in the body. I took off the tape to get to it and in doing so, a few of the windings came apart. Is this p'up now dead and in need of a re-winding? Image

Dosen't sound good. You might try posting it in the "Winding Up With The Best" topic. Sérgio is your guy for this one.
