Oh dear, another virgin...in my country not even three or four feet of ice can slow a resourceful
Canadian from participating in natures most cherished winter tradition..well besides playing a rick by a fire...anyway...we drive out on the ice for miles...avoiding the semi-tractors and dump trucks..drill a hole...drop a line and have a refreshing "wobbly pop" and if we are lucky...catch a few fish.

Of course ice fishing is not fishing for ice...but rather through the ice...for fish...hell, in Canada we certainly don't have to FISH for ice...at least not in winter.

it's a silly farm boy stunt. Cows sometimes fall asleep standing up. We would on occasion push them over then run like the dickens. It's great fun. Jeez, now that I type it out it sounds rather stupid.

Hmmm...I guess its just as silly as convincing someone to look for "iceworms"...another prank from a misspent youth.
