I was on TV today...

Post by lars »

I played two songs on nationwide TV this morning. The program was "God morgen Norge" (Good morning Norway). I brought my fireglo '76 4001.

I'll try get a link to a stream or a screenshot from the program.

Congratulations Lars, I have been on the radio www.radioteesdale.co.uk (but it doesn't really count because I am the technical manager there and one of the presenters, lol). Never been on the TV in my own right though.

Graham Griffiths was on TV here in the UK once - on "Crimewatch"! (I hope he doesn't read this).

Jeff, was it a shirt or no shirt episode? Image

I've been on TV and radio, but never in Norway, that I know of. Image

God morgen indeed! Nothing like the smell of fresh coffee and the sound of a Rickenbacker bass (not to mention the sight!) to make you jump out of bed.

Great shots, Lars. Thanks for posting. Nothing cooler than seeing a gorgeous Fireglo Rick bass on TV.

I must admit...I see a LOT of live music...And there's definitely something cool and interesting about seeing such beautiful, high-quality instruments on any stage. I'm not the kind of guy that comes up with a Geddy Lee reference for every situation, but when he dropped the Rick in favor of that ugly boat-paddle thing, I completely lost interest in the band.

Lars, that's great - good exposure. I've only been on local radio and tv.
Is everybody ready?
