Some people have been waiting almost that long for their 325c64's! I went shopping for the new Model 1996 reissue just the other day. I expected to pay a deposit and get a guitar by the end of 2006. They said that I'd be lucky to have the guitar by the end of 2007. Oh well...

Brian: I purchased my first Ric, a beat-up and unplayable '64 325 FG with F-hole, in 1979. Now I have the chance to buy the identical guitar factory fresh to join over a dozen other Rics I've collected over the years. I'm not complaining!

Randy you are definitely not one to complain so I did not see it as a complaint.

I had visions in my mind of kids starving in Africa and Asia when I made that post. We are so fortunate in this part of the world. Don't you think? Anyway, my apologies for thinking out loud.

Stuart, have you aged better or worse than his 325? Remember when the Rick was 2 or 3 years old it had its head damaged all the way to the nut. I hope you have faired better.

Yeah, I turned 21 on Monday, and I'm still in pretty good shape. Might need to have my neck reset someday though

I understand what you mean in that John's sentimental favorite Rickenbacker was probably the Hamburg model...

Perhaps my word choice of "main" was wrong, but the Miami was the 'touring' Rick was it not?
