Purpleburst

Post by bassduke49 »

Can you direct me to the shots of the recently refinished Rick guitars in Purpleburst? I don't remember the tread or the Forum they were in.

THanks.

Nick, that 's the original "Hudson" guitar. I believe that Paul's referring to the 330 I recently refinned for Melissa:

That looks really nice, but I think I'd prefer it with a white pickguard!

Yes, Paul W., we need to talk. May I e-mail you privately?

But, of course. Put on your purple sweater and drop me a line.

I had a Kustom guitar. For those of you who have never seen them they look very much like a Ric. Well you say what does this have to do with a purple burst?
Well the Kustom I had was done in what they called Wine burst. It was Dark Purple on the outer edges where Meelissia's is in the Darker Purple. It melded to the center which was a green. Pretty cool really when you saw it.
I would love to see Ric do a simular one. It had a black guard.

An ideal guitar color combo for the fashion-challenged among us, or to play the theme song for "that '70s Show".

Green and purple. <urp.>
