Warranty Return / Replacement

Post by btomlinson »

Does anyone know the turn around time for a Warranty Return / Replacement for a RIC 360 jetglo?

Thanks

you would probably get an accurate answer from the Rickenbacker forum.

Brett, my warranty return was back in about 2 or 3 weeks, and that was over the Christmas holiday last year. Some of that time was transportation. I had to send the guitar from Canada to California. I was very happy with how things turned out.

Sorry, I should just clarify that my guitar was sent for a warranty repair, not replacement.

Customer Service are the people to ask. We're a bunch of enthusiasts.

Thanks all.

Rickenbacker Customer Service has been awesome. They told me they would have a idea about turn over once they see the guitar.

Always best to go to the source.

I always try to keep customer service updated about the progress on warrenty repairs. Turnaround time depends on the work that needs to be done. I've noticed that some of our workers hesitate to let the warranty repairs go out upon completion because they insist on fixing whatever other minute problems they perceive.

Recently, we had a 4003 Midnight binding bleed return that had some nasty scratches on the back. Although the customer only cited the binding problem, the paint department insisted on refinishing the entire bass. This delayed the guy's instrument one day, but it came out looking like new.

In any case, I'm the one that is going to receive your 360, Brett. Updates shall follow...

Ben,

Thank you so much. Once you get the guitar I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Again, I cannot thank you enough. I love the 360. RIC has been nothing but exceptional in dealing with this. Your post here makes me feel even better.

Ben: Thanks for taking such good care of those who play Rickenbackers. The repair of which you describe is just one of several reasons why RIC leads the pack in my books.

Welcome Brett. From the first page of The Rickenbacker Forum
