FORUM 2006 CALENDARS ARE HERE!

Post by jingle_jangle »

Nice, glossy paper. 12 different photos of members' guitars, photo size 8 1/2 X 11, suitable for framing!

This is a promotional deal. We don't make a penny on them--your cost is what we pay CafePress to produce them.

T-Shirts and bumper stickers are once again available for a limited time, too. Sorry, no mugs.

Here's what the cover of the calendar looks like:

Thanks for that link, Paul. It doesn't show up on the store owner's pages!

Some look very familiarImage
One question: IIRC, the announcement said there should be no people in the pictures?..

I don't know man, not a single shot of a "modern" 360, or a standard-issue, hi-again-equipped 330 or 360, yet Pretty Purple made it ?? What gives ??? I don't think a Ric should have to be worth over $2,000 to be beautiful !!!

But that's just, like ... my opinion ... man.

Let me tell YOU somethin', pendejo! Paul probably should have flashed a 360 new-style out on the lanes, but you can't win 'em all. Strikes and gutters, as a man wiser 'en myself once said. Image

Maybe next year?

Nice to see a pic of Dale in there. That was a classy move. IMHO

Folks, for the most part, I used what people sent me. In a couple of cases. I had to make up pages from other shots I had taken (the JH and the oh-so-offensive "pretty purple" shot), which had to be high-resolution. Carsello, if you want to see new stuff in NEXT YEAR'S calendar, send me some new stuff!

I did get some shots from Jim Wargowski of his new 370-12, and its headstock is Miss December.

I said "no people", Sheena, because I didn't want this to be a "my girlfriend and my Ricks" calendar. I chose John Hall and Dale because...do I have to explain? They're both important people to this Forum and all Rick owners.

But aside from them, I didn't think that a "owners with their guitars" calendar would have the proper focus.

Next year: Lefties, new models. Taking requests. But not unless I get photos!
