Hello everyone.

This is my first post here so I think an intro is in order.

My name is Daniel and I've just caught the Rickenbacker bug for the first time. I got blindsided by a Mapleglo 1997 a couple of weeks ago and I'm getting hooked. I'm primarily a Tele player that plays thru a stereo rig consisting of a Vox AC-15TBX (the discontinued 2x10 version ;() & an old Gretsch Model 6161/or modified Fender Pro Jr. I have to say this 1997 sounds fantastic!

Anyway, GAS struck again. Since RIC is discontinuing the 1997, I ordered a Fireglo 1997 SPC VB while I still could do it. The wait has begun.

Anybody else dreaming of a new or used Rickenbacker this holiday season?

I'm already hoping Santa brings me a Jetglo 620 with "toasters" and vintage vibrato. I said I was getting hooked.
