I just spotted what looks like a newly shipped 4003 BBR to Chris.
I hope it's yours. Image

I saw it too....I didn't want to say anything until I get confirmation from Chris, but I almost jumped out of my chair when I saw it!
You guys just want me to stop whining, right?

Well...it would give us all a little bit of "closure," Steve!

OK, OK, I get the hint....Image
I know most of you don't know the feeling of being Rickless, but it is not easy!

Steve, I didn't know you where Rickless. Hell, that really has to hurt. I would have cracked long ago.

Dave, great looking BBR! I like the lighter color. I wonder what a white pearloid p/g from Pickguardian would look like on BBR?

Pearloid? Hmmmm.
Actually I've been searching for a real chrome plated metal guard for my Rics for years. (not mirror) That was my first question post here in 04. There is so much bright beautiful chrome on these puppies that a chrome guard would just perfect it for me. Still cant find one.

Chrome sounds like a good idea. Why don't you get Tony to make one for you?

Honestly, I had a hard time sleeping last night, not knowing if it is mine or not (he is waiting on 2 of them, but I am 99% sure mine was put on hold first). I am waiting for confirmation on it today.

That's a beauty, Dave! I appreciate all of the support....more as I find out Image

Bob, my younger brother passed away suddenly last January, and I needed to sell my beloved '73 to raise some emergency cash to settle up some things for him. I have been Rickless since then.

My girlfriend ordered the BBR for me as a b-day gift to replace the one I had to sell, since she felt so bad that I had to part with it. Since then, I have been Thunderbirding, but still unable to keep the Rick out of my thoughts on a daily basis. It's been a hard wait, I hope it is finally over.

It should also have walnut wings as well as the pickup selector.

Steve, so sorry to hear about your brother. Sounds like you have a great girlfriend.

Looking at the BBR's on order at POTR's there is one on hold, and one that is already paid for. I assume the one that is paid for is yours. I would think the paid order should be the first one shipped.
Good luck, and keep us posted. Image

I've been waiting for Chris to stick my initials next to one of the 4004L's on hold, but he hasn't. I just hope I don't keep getting pushed back on the orders.

He already sold one earlier in the year, he actually got one of the very first ones. That's the one shown as sold. He is waiting on 2 more, mine is the "Hold LM" one. The "Hold TG" one came up after mine, but I am waiting for Chris to confirm. What time do they open? Image
