4004Cii Jetglo

Post by rickenbrother »

This 4004Cii Jetglo arrived for me almost 2 weeks ago. I'm just getting aquainted with it now. It is used, but it's in great condition, like it's former owner hardly ever touched it. I had been wanting a 4004 Jetglo, then after seeing Brian Crisman's 4004L, RAS really went into high gear. It's all Brians fault! Image

Nice Joey!

Looks like gold hardware. Did she come that way?

I've only seen them with chrome, looks good!

Oops!

Never-mind, I see it is a Cii, not an L.

Did not think they produced an all black Cii.

Your right, it's Brian's fault. That guy costs us a lot of money around here!

It's all my fault huh?!?!? Image
Glad I could help and congrats Joey?

That looks nice with the gold.....and we all know that I'm not a huge fan of the "bling" but it does look great with some colors (JetGlo and Monty Brown especially). Is that the one from Mike Parks?

Thanks guys. I didn't expect to like the gold on black so much, but the more I look at it, the more I like it.
Yes, it is the one that Mike Parks had.
It has some awesome tones. I don't know why anyone would not like the 4004 basses. This one sounds great. Just from plugging straight into my RIC RB-120 amp, I'm getting Squire like tones with both pickups on, to slapping the strings and getting a very Larry Graham "Thank You Fa Lettin Me Be Mice Elf Agin" tone outta the bridge pickup.

See what did you did Brian!! LOL

I'm going to try to get some nicer pics of it tomorrow if the weather is nice.

Sweet Joey!

Congrats and enjoy!

I passed on that one - if by chance you decide to move it let me know. I only play my Cii's anymore. Simply love them!

cheers!
