New present!

Post by nattiep »

Thanks Ted Staberow for the Badass bridge you mailed me for my 4001GL project. Funny thing is I'll send it back with my bass when I get back to the states! Image

You didn't have to do that, but you did. THANK YOU!

YES! Jeff Thomas sent me the Schaller M4S tuners I needed and Ted sent me the bridge. I just need new plastic (pickguard, TRC and bridge surround) to have all the parts needed. Then I'll send it to Ted to get it put together.

One of the cool things about this forum are the great people that go the extra mile to help each other out.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

You are quite welcome Nate. I have had that BA here for about 25 years. If I did not use it by now chances are good that I would never use it. I have two others plus the BAII that will come off of my 4002 - someday.

Nate...

I am so damn tempted to swap you white plastic... but I'm so attached to the vintage white Pickguardian I have and it wouldn't be what you'd want anyway... but your JG looks SO good with the black parts...

Well there you go! The Chicago Contingent comes through again. Good job, Ted.

Nate- Now all you need is that nose prosthesis you were talking about!

To change Nate to Geddy would involve black market dealings in Toucan beaks...

You also have to love Chris Squire to be Geddy, too.

"Chris Squire rocks! He's fantastic!" - Geddy Lee

Nate, you're the first I know of to make yourself a Geddy 4001...

Skipping the 'mullet' phase, are we?

I made a few GL 4001s back in the early '80s.

So, Nate, you're interested in my Jetglo, yet you already have one that looks almost exactly the same? As an owner of seven Ricks, I guess I shouldn't question.

Nope. I like black, Paul. If every one of my basses were black I'd be happy.. and pretty soon that's how it's gonna be! Truthfully I want pretty much exactly what I have now, but without the string choice worries.

Yeah, well Ted, mine will have the sig guard from pickguardian. It'll be like the 4001CS guard. Just to make it look extra fancy.

Steve, the ponytail is coming along fine. I haven't had a hair cut since July '04, so I'm getting there.
It's not like this one!

Yes, I'm skipping the mullet. I'd need a boat paddle for that.

I'm not gonna do what the Michael Jackson fan do and get surgery to look like an idol. That's just stupid.

Mark, I haven't heard enough Yes to say weather I like Squire or not.. I've heard a couple songs, and been to a show and I love his tone.
