I've seen some NOS vintage Rickenbackers from time to time, and own one...but this is how I like 'em...

Yeah, I started a thread in the For Sale section. Goodness, this hurts your eyes to look at it.

Note the fireglo. Much like the AFG and not all that different from the early '90s fireglo in terms of colour, though the shading is of course different.

I think that $6000 is closer to what it is worth. But what about the guy who really wants a NOS '66 360/12? Will he pay $7000 if you are patient and wait for him to see it? Probably.

Value is subjective, of course. I consider a guitar's market value what it will sell for, in a reasonable amount of time, with a reasonable amount of exposure and effort. And I think that $6000 is that number but then again, THAT guy could have chosen today to go one Ebay.

Bob's right, it's hard to put a price on this...nice 12-strings are out there but how many are left that are vitually unplayed? It's a beaut.
