Gene Pitney Dies

Post by admin »

Here is the story. The loss of another great voice.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

...
How can we keep love alive
How can anything survive
When these little minds tear you in two
What a town without a pity can do
No it isn't very pretty what a town without pity...
Can do

...
it's all too sad... God rest his soul...
Nothing will get you dead quicker than being deadly serious about yourself.

Yes certainly sad, seen him in Concert many times, he even gave my wife a kiss once, here is a song he wrote for The Crystals, that was He's A Rebel, this is his own fairly rare version though.

I agree with your comment Peter, sadly we have lost another great singer.

Yes, too bad, I've always liked him. He lived near here and played the casinos every so often, I saw him about 5 years ago and he looked and sounded great. He still lived in CT.
