Yet Another Book on the Beatles Recording

Post by Scastles »

Anyone know about this? Know anything, possibly, about the credibility of it, and the authors? Big book, big bucks.

BrianK is a regular member of VoxTalks, so the publication of this book is widely known and anticipated over there. I don't know much about it myself, but as many have said, this could be the book everyone's been waiting for.

This one will be a corker. But I'll wait for the unsigned, more reasonably-priced edition.

Is that a good thing, or bad? Image

I will probably get it. To me, the best book about the Beatles is "Beatles Gear" by Andy Babiuk. Of course, having the very first copy sold (and signed and noted attesting that) makes it tough to beat in my eyes. Still, this book about recording sounds good too (no pun intended).

Beatles Gear is a cool, fun book. I had Pete Best sign under his pic on one page. I'll get this one, too -- looks too intriguing to pass up.

I'm reading the Geoff Emerick book right now. Seems like a year for Beatles recording experts book to surface!
