Ace/Academy

I just picked up this little beauty.
It's an Academy body with an Ace decal on the headstock.
The Ace replaced the Academy.
I guess they ran out of Academy decals before they depleted their stock of Academy bodies.

Congratulations Richard. An interesting bit of history with the Ace decal and the Academy body.

When you get the chance, would you be able to take a close up photo of the headstock and the horseshoe pickup and post them here.
