Thinking about a new 4003.............

Post by highway_star »

Don't ask me why I want one when I've been playing 5 string basses almost exclusively now, but the idea of Amber Fireglo, thin neck and the tone bypass circuit has me intrigued. How have the new necks been?

Of course, I'd be really thrilled to get a 4004Cii/5 when production resumes.
If you think all is going well, you've obviously overlooked something.

Ron, that is exactly the bass that I have had on order for the past seven weeks. It will be my first brand new RIC since 1974. It was the slimmer neck, walnut wings, AFG and tone that did it for me.

A new neck bass just arrived (and was quickly sold to forum member Jeffery L. Hoyt) at The Music Connection. He's anxiously awaiting its delivery and promised a review.
