TR100 - 2 x 12 Schematics/Manual Help

Post by garrityi »

Just purchased a TR100, 2 x 12 amp, SN - WX 001164 in mint/new condition. Can anyone help with directing me where to find schematics and manuals? I cannot find any info on the TR100 with the 2 x 12 on the Ric site, just the tall boy. It is appreciated.
Going to use an unplayed to date 360/12 CW with amp when MDA gets done with the bridge/nut mod. Can hardly wait!! Any other input regarding the amp/guitar combo also appreciated.

Bob: Welcome to The Rickenbacker Forum. Should you have a few moments, I am sure we would all appreciate some comments on the history of these amplifiers and the manner in which they differed from the competition of the day.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

The Transonic series schematics are not posted on the website due to the large format of the drawings but customer service can provide you with copies.

The TR100 and 200 share the same preamp but have different power amps (although built on the same PCB and chassis), so it requires three pages to show the whole thing.

Don't get the later TR Series amps confused with the Transonics; different animals completely. My memory is that the serial number given is likely one of the later TR amps.

Bob, of course, is the man, the real deal for Transonics, but not doubt could fix your amp as well.
