Shots of interest?

Post by bassduke49 »

I tried a few times to register on the Yahoo picture site and my Mac says it can't connect?

So, here is a shot of my Mink bass:

A shot of Mellibee (right . . . duh!) and I with our shining stars

Image

Paul Wilczinsky with my righty '72 Mink and John Simmons' (or is it John Williams'?) lefty '72 Burg (eggplantglo). Man and the machines. Bookends!

Image

And my "provenance" shot of THE MAN signing my old '72 pickguard. That's going in a frame!

The Mink looked awesome in person, Paul. What really blew me away was the pickguard - in the right light, it looked silver, then sometimes it looked gold!

It sounded fantastic as well.

That was John Simmons' burg, BTW.

Here's me with one of Graham's 360 F's. This might have been a 345F, actually. (Edit - it was.)

These were my favorite guitars at the confluence - I was a pretty happy camper here! Thanks to Darren for the pic.

That is a wonderful playing bass. Thanks for the opportunity to see it.

Yahoo has been very slow. Macs time out while trying to access lately. Keep trying. The problem is with THEM...

Paul, it is mine. John Williams would never own anything that cool.ImageImageImage

Yeah, Gary was very gracious to let us all paw over this prize. Great player. Thank you, Sir!

I second that John - Gary was very willing to let us check out some of prized possessions up close and personal. Thanks Gary!
