Steve Breman (prismacolor2 from the old DudePit) has a clean Shadow on eBay, and it's already at $2,700 with more than 6 days to go!

I think so. I'd love to own a Shadow, but at the price that one will sell for, I could buy a few very nice new Ricks that will sound and play just as well.

With a set of Black Beauties, only the Shadow knows....

As for the auction, hopfully it isn't just losers playing around with the bidding.
