New hi-gains

Post by steverok »

I did an experiment, messing with the pick-up angles on my 360. Small tweaks of the angles result in very notice-able changes in tone. I can really get the little E string to pop and chime, by angling it closer on the neck pick-up, and more even on the bridge. It seems that the new adjustable-pole hi-gains would be very flexible in allowing you to customize the tone of each string. Anyone have one with the new hi-gains ? I would think I would want this on every Ric, however, you can't do that with toasters.
