RICK RESOURCE FORUM CALENDARS FOR 2007

Post by jingle_jangle »

Calling all Rickenbacker owners and Forum members--I'm looking for submissions for the RRF 2007 calendar photographs.

This time I can accept electronic submissions to my e-mail address (given in my profile). Files should be 200 DPI or more (300 DPI preferred) and 9X12 or thereabouts.

Set 'em up and photograph 'em--the photos can be of one guitar, a nice detail, or several guitars. Subject matter, of course, must be one or more Rickenbacker guitars, basses, amplifiers, lap steels, etc. Please, no human presence in the shots.

I'm going to need a baker's dozen GOOD photos, so get cracking!

By submitting your photo to me for this calendar, it is understood that you are expressing your permission for us to use the submitted photo, without compensation.

Like last year, this is a non-profit project. The price at which these are sold through CafePress is the same price which we pay to have them printed.

As before, I'll announce when they are available (around December 10, in time for Christmas) and you can preview each page before purchasing.

DEADLINE for submissions is midnight, December 5, 2006.

I was wondering about a 2007 calendar just yesterday. You must have read my mind, Paul. Will there be any new Rick Resources t-shirts offered in the near future?

Once we have an approved new logo, the RRF online shop will re-open and t-shirts will again be available with the new logo, in white and black.

Yaaaayyyyyy!!!!

Time to have an afternoon of fun posing my Rickenbeauties all around the house again!

I had a lot of fun with last year's pics, and look forward to taking some more--it's nice to have an excuse to take pictures of my guitars, LOL! Image

I think that a certain Purpleburst will be a shoe-in for the calendar!

I dunno.... Isn't everybody tired of seeing it yet? Image

After all, it did make it into last year's calendar, although the color they made it in the print shop was not even close to what it really looks like.... Various Forumites have sent me some really nice pics of it that they took at the 75th; perhaps one of them would like to submit their photos to the project....

Har.

Jared, you sure are getting lots of mileage out of your Mr. Ed obsession!

Personally, it was Wilbur's wife who ring-a-dinged my fantasies back then...

Melissa, if you have all four by the deadline, that'd make a GREAT photo for the calendar.

Right, gotta find a good place to take a decent pic of my pride and joy. Gotta have a lefty in there somewhere...
