Seller says: "If the item is removed due to complaints from rickenbacker, i will relist the item as "lawsuit bass guitar" i apologise in advance for any inconveniences this may cause. I didnt attempt to or imply that this was the genuine article."

So just ignore the "Rickenbacker" TR cover...

Exactly Lawton. I thought the same thing when I saw the close up of the TRC.

you know, what do these people expect?

you want to copy the body style, you might get away with it but to put the name of the manufacturer on the guitar and not expect a problem is retarded

Hehehehe.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

Yea, a lot of people are oblivious to the fact that it's not just the name but the shapes(TRC, cresting wave) that are copyrighted. The 4000 series basses have always intrigued me with their voluptuous curvy-ness, like a beautiful woman....hey wait a minute I just figured why I'm so attracted to ricks....

I think the weirdest part is that there are eleven bids so far, 4 of which are repeat bids from a zero feedback member.
