A question Paul?
Hey Paul, I was wondering if it is possible for you to mix a color of paint for me and send it up my way so I could refinish my RIC 230 in it? If it came from you I know it would be an accurate color, and then I'd just have to make sure to do the finish process correctly to have it turn out great! I have a good place to spray it with a proper painting facility, and good equipment too. I was thinking my 230 would look great in blueboy. What do you think?
I'm almost done with the sanding, and should be ready to finish it within a month or so. I had to replace the binding, which is why it's taken me so long. I was also thinking of something transparent.....but can't decide on a good color.

Hi John. The 230 has binding on the neck, but not on the body, and no pickguard. Its the same body shape as the Glenn Fry model, but has different pickups and 2 tones and 2 volumes, instead of one of each. Here's some info on it.

I actually think the body shape on these is rather ugly compared to most other RICS, but its the first guitar I got when I started playing when I was 17, and it was black when I bought it used. It was originally red, and all the paint on it was causing the finish to check, so I took it all off, and am refinishing it. I think blueboy would look pretty good on it, but I'd want to make sure to get the shade and paint type right. Hopefully Paul can help me out?

Greg, I just got down to it. Lots of emails to answer this weekend. Sorry for the delay.
