The OTHER forum CD project

I realize there is another CD project going on by Tony and Gary, but I'll throw this idea out as well. I hope I'm not stepping on some toes here, but the more music that gets out in the world the better.

I have done a few co-op compilation CD's here locally. How it worked was each band chips in $100 and an original track, and they get at least 50 CD's (depending on the number of bands participating).

The CD's will be replicated CD's and the covers will be offset press, just like regular commercial CD's.

Since this is a potentially global compilation (I'm in the USA) it might work slightly different for overseas people. What I have done in the past would be to remove the jewel cases and send just the CD's and the inserts. It saves tons off the shipping costs, but you'll have to supply your own jewel cases.

These types of CD's can help promote your music. That's why you have Rickenbacker's after all isn't it?

As for the particulars, cover art etc., that can be worked out later. My initial idea is a closeup of part of your RIC and we make a collage.
