Email Woes

I have the Nod32 antivirus program, which has always worked in the past. For reasons that are unclear to me, I can, as of a couple of days ago, no longer send email attachments larger than about 100 k. This is not the whole problem but I will settle for this fix now. Any ideas. I have of course looked fairly extensively online.
