And I thought I was a little crazy

Post by jwr2 »

when I got rid of all of my 4 string basses and got a bunch of 5 string basses some people thought I was a little crazy ... then I saw this guy here who has like a dozen 7 string basses ... suddenly I feel very mainstream ...

Bass harp. A concept whose time has come...

#2, 7, 8, and 11 should be put out of their misery. That thing with the vermillion flame running up the fretboard especially!

Holy moly! I'll bet it weighs more than a 4080..That neck also looks like it could double as a water ski.

Now, what would you string a harp with? Rounds or flats?

I think monstrosities like that are a sign of bass player insecurity. You don't see guitar players buying into this kind of nonsence. But hey, that's just my opinion.
