If you can make it down to Clairemont, take it to Fred at The Repair Zone. Fantastic service, quick turn around times, and a great guy!

I have 3 that I've used and they're all great:
1 The guy at Laguna Beach Guitar Shoppe (can't remember his name) used to make guitars for Chet Atkins and is a great artisan and craftsman.
2 The guys at World Of Strings in Long Beach have seen everything under the sun. They are mostly an acoustic shop, but they always have tons of electrics hanging around too.
3 CB Hill used to work at WOS and is now at Rockit Music in Brea. He does everything as well and makes some of the most beautiful electric archtop acoustics I've ever seen.
A splendid time is guaranteed for all.

You might inquire with Steve Soest in Orange (Orange County). He does great work on Rickenbackers (he worked on my 331LS), but he probably works on other makes as well.

Thanks guys
it's a 73 Gibson L6-S I have three of um. This one will never be a classic so I building it for a friend. Bill Lawrence designed it for Gibson and he has his pickup plant in Corona. Think I might ask him to help me with this. Everyone says he is a really nice guy.
