Yellow 360/12

Post by shackleton »

I am looking at a 360 on ebay. The seller says its yellow. Could it just be white that has aged that color or really yellow?
Got to start with one make it a 360/12.

Probably, as the conversion varnish yellows it takes the color with it. The paint itself does not change the clear coat does.

That's what I though. Looks cool though. I think it must have been exposed to a lot of lite for that to happen to a 1993.

Some people like a little yellowing. It gives FG a nice amber overtone. When white yellows slightly and evenly it looks very nice. Too much yellow makes it look a bit like snot. IMHO

1975 4001S WHT, nicely yellowed, and 1998 4003 WHT WT, nicely white still.
