And to think that on the record, that solo was played by Paul.

Welcome back, Dane.

...in fine form, as usual...

It still amazes me how well their voices blend on the unison parts (and not only on this song). Like one voice from two people.

ok...where does he "blow" the solo ? ...i hear
some notes a bit muffled (still the right note) on the
opening...your really nitpicking if that's what
is being talked about ...all the bits sound right

He messed it up the first time. Second time was better. Wasn't that bad.

I wish I "blew" solos like George...I'd give my eye teeth to play at his worst...

It doesn't sound as if he muffed it so much. It's more likely George's style of playing which might sound askew, as opposed to McCartney's solo work on the record. And since it's live, you're not in a situation where you say, " Hey, let's do that over again."

That's not a 'solo', it's a turnaround between two sections of the song. They're playing live in front of gobs of people, with no monitors. Just what exactly did he blow? Sounded pretty d*mn good to me.....

Okay, so he blew the turnaround. Turnaround? Whatever...

Yeah, but check out that little shuffle-slide-dance step he's doing.
