This is the only documented public performance I know of showing Jorma Kaukonen playing his 360. This was at the 1966 Monterey Jazz Festival.

Kantner, as I'm sure you all know, was (is) a big fan of Rickenbacker and recommended that Jorma play one.

For those who are not aware, there is an infamous story that in a fit of anger, Jorma threw his 360 against the wall. It pierced the wall and survived. It was later sold by his (first) wife.

As John said, yes it a 12. (Why Jorma was playing lead on a 12, I'm not sure ... maybe the McGuinn influence. Something to ask him, I guess.)
