According to Paul Wilczynski's Rickenbacker mug, there at one time existed a 4005 Lightshow BASS??? Can anybody offer more detail about this? Paul, I'm looking at you...

It is an Azureglo 4005 on the mug that you see peeking out from around the edge.

That fella must be ****** about the shirt because it sure is a cool (hot?) bass.

Okay, where can I get one and how much?

Bass or the shirt, what ever costs less, no raise this year.

Great photo's Jeff, thanks!
I'm just happy to be here.

I think you'll have to settle for the shirt, I'm afraid!

The "fella" with the shirt and Lightshow bass is the late John Entwhistle "Ox" of The Who. He was quite the collector.

Ted says there were two Lightshow 4005s. Don't know for sure. It appears there were at least two, anyway. The one in the photos on the white rug I think is in Japan.
