It's so easy

Post by heavypet »

I'm still a bass noob, but this white 1993 4001... I got some GHS Brite Flats for it a year ago. "Things happened", and I didn't play with it for a long time until tonight. Tuned it up and plugged it direct into an Art Prochannel with a *touch* of compression. That went into a simple mixer with a bit of room reverb in parallel on send/return.

I'm playing along with McCartney's "Let 'Em In", and it is a nearly identical sound. My reverb choice stands apart far more than the bass tone!

Smooth, woody, full, and even-tempered across all four strings. So easy! What a delightful instrument.
