Im thinking of buying one of these . Is $650 to my door a good price ?
More throttle...Less brakes

I'd venture that it might be a little on the high side, although the one I see on evil bay is $649 BIN with $25 shipping. If new, then $650 sounds about right. It seems some equipment you can't get too big a break on these days.

That's about par for a new YBA-200, Musicians Buy has them for $679 plus shipping.

Bob Scott on this forum has one I believe, it'd be worth dropping Bob an email and ask his opinion on the amp, $650 for a brand new 200w all tube amp is a good deal IMHO.

You could try scouting Ebay for a cheaper YBA-200, you might be lucky

I certainly like mine - especially with the big multi-speaker cabinet they build for it. Frequency response from 30-1,6000 Hz gives you a lot of possible tone options. It's also the clearest, brightest Ric twelve amp I've ever heard by far and makes most of the old standbys like the JC120 sound like mud in comparison.
