Ageing of Fireglo Finishes

Paul -- I have seen comments of yours and others, in different RRF threads about the natural ageing process of Fireglo finishes, transitioning from the Red-Pink hue to the more Autumnglo color. My question is how fast (years) does this ageing process usually take ? Or does each unique finish job have it's own distinct life-cycle ?

My original Fireglo is a 2003 360-12. My recent acquisition of a 2006 Fireglo 330 really made a stark contrast to the other, which is only a few years old, but has mellowed and lost some of it's original reddish-pink hue. As the 360-12 is not often in sunshine, I am wondering what could have caused it's FG finish to age so rapidly in just a few years ? Does anything else besides UV rays cause this ageing ? Would a home with an outdoor swimming pool tend to have a higher percent of chlorine in it's environment, that could impact the finish ?

I have an interesting comparative pic of my '76 4000.
Still very pink under the 'guard, but pretty much AFG on the visible areas.
