Did Rick James really play that white Rick 4001 on the cover.....FATRAT

On the basis of all the available information submitted to the Rickenbacker Registration Page to date, it would appear that Rick James played a Model 4001 White Rickenbacker bass.

I loved his Super Freak sound on that bass, I saw one of his albums with a blue Ric too. (Azureglo?)
