Got me 360/12 MG!

Post by alexgarner »

And am very very very happy with it. Cost me a lot, £950, but is really nice. 1985 and in perfect condition. I don t know if any of you remember but I was searching pretty keenly for the last few months for one.

Decided on a janglebox instead to save money, but I got a bonus from work and sold a strat, plus RicsRUs said they weren t going to have any jangleboxs for a couple of months.

Well you can guess the rest. My Ric family is complete Image It does freak me out that I have 3 separate guitars with the same pickups (Hi-Gains) tho (330 FG;620JG;360MG;12) but still, I can t get over the sound of the 12, in the best possible way. I m 6'5 and have long fingers, so it s a little tight around the nut end, but nothing like I feared. My chorus pedal (CE-1) isn t as effective as I hoped/assumed it would be but my CS-3 sounds wonderful with it.

I do want to change the bridge to a 12 saddle one and am thinking about toasters. Dont know if this is the right place to post this note but just sharing the love Image

The search is over!

Congrats, Alex.... Nothing beats the sound of a Ric 12-string! Image

If you get a chance to get a Janglebox in the future, do it! It will bring your jangle to a whole new level....
