The difference a year makes?

Post by studiotwosession »

I was typing with Paul about how one of these from the same era (80 or 81) in BG was a Buy It Now on Ebay last year for 1500 and there were no takers. Are prices up or what:?

These are neck and neck with v64's now, which I find fascinating.

I can't believe I missed the BG one last year. ::KICKS SELF HARD::

You remember that one? Funny thing, it didn't seem a deal at the time. Heh-heh.

Yes, there have been a few double-bound BG's come up for sale in the past year-to-year and a half. Most have been 12's, so I wasn't so thrilled about them at the time.

There was one GOREGEOUS 6'er, an '80 I believe, where the seller even posted sound clips of the guitar. I was in the mix on that one - it got a lot of bids and ended around the $1500 mark. And I thought it was too much at the time!

I've seen about seven of them (WBs) from that era, all 12s.
