MARF is one month away....tick-tock....
I'm looking forward to seeing as many of you that can make it...it's shaping up to be a great get-together. If you have any questions about anything please e-mail Don Cooksey, Chris Clayton or myself. The closer we get, we may have more announcements, so keep an eye out on the threads. Thanks.

And now just a little over a week away...
I'll be rolling in Saturday morning. Things I'm looking forward to: (aside from meeting you good people, of course, and the sharing of a beverage or two)
1) Seeing some great vintage ricks. I hate to admit it, but the only pre-80s Rickenbacker I've seen in person so far was a beat-up '66 450/6 MG in desperate need of a re-fret. From posted photos of previous events, it looks like MARF II might have a little more to offer than that...
2) Getting a feel for the wider neck'd 650s and 660s. Never had the opportunity to play one. I'm curious to see how they compare to the regular slim necks, and whether these models will make suitable additions to my already substantial RAS wish-list.
3) Hearing Rickenbacker guitars through a variety of quality amplifiers. I'm thinking of finally moving up from my Vox Pathfinder in the near future, and it will be useful to compare sounds and find the right guitar/amp combination for my ears.
See y'all soon...
