Blueburst variation

Post by clearblue »

If anyone has one of the few blueburst vatiations that has a purple tint to it please post a photo. I have only seen one of these and should have purchased it. It was a new 330. Anyone know the full story on this?

That's the one I should have purchased.

I wonder if this is just the tint of the digital pic being off. I know that it has been stated here before about how hard it is to photograph a shaded finish...fireglo, blueburst etc.

Did Chris say if it was actually purplish?

There are other blueburst photos on his site that are pretty much the same shade so I'd think that this one was in fact different. I didn't inquire about this guitar I just saw it on his site.

Thanks for the link. I really like that purple tint and would like to get a 660 in that color Image

To me, it looks like something red or brown is reflecting in the finish. The "horns" are quite blue.

I can't really tell, it looks like there is a bit of red in it.. But that's my 2 cents.

Hmmm...I wonder how that would look on a 381? ;-)

it may just be my old worn out eyes but that color does not look blue ...
it looks purple.

Hmmmmm..... to me it looks like the color of faded denim--it has kind of an indigo hue.

Almost purple, but not quite-- THIS is what a purple 330 looks like, LOL!

wild.... very cool indeed.
Melissa , I'm no fan of blue guitars, but if I were to get a blue Rick, that would be the one I'd get .... I think the color is pseudoblueishpurplepinklikeblueagin.

In the pic it looks more blue than it actually is.

I got a chance to see this guitar up close and personal at the 75th last year. It was my wife's favorite colored Rick. It really did stand out in a room full of guitars.
