While McGuinn's Rickenbacker stayed in its case for the most part... "Pretty PollY' aside, the expanded Sweetheart of the Rodeo double CD was released 9/2/03...
It has the original tracks, some International Submarine Band stuff and session outtakes, alternate versions, etc...

Sony did a wonderful job on expanded "Sweetheart of the Rodeo". Great shots of the Byrds from 1968. To bad you can't see Doug Dillard better playing Mcguinn's Rickenbacker Bantar. By the way, last email to Mcguinn, we talked about the Bantar. He gave it to Doug. Doug used it on Gene Clark's , "Keep on Pushin'", and the Monkees, "What am I doing hangin' round?". I wish Sony/Legacy would do more Byrds albums.
