Nice, Sean! I'm looking at a early 70's jazz neck and plan to find a body to match up. Did that already with a fiesta red Precision with matching headstock.

Sharp looking Sean! Like the white edge to the black guard.

I had some spare time today and hit a couple shops and played a Jazz or two but the necks are soooo narrow - I have bigger hands and it felt strangely tiny in my left hand. But I really like the tone - a classic and very different than my Ricks.

It's funny I love the Jazz neck, but I like humbuckers for pickups!

I could probably dig a Jazz neck and P bass pu.

That is great looking. I'm with you John, there several Jazz's I've played I just couldn't get the hang of the narrow neck.

Just dropped it off for a refret today. Called a couple of luthiers, neither of which called me back, so I took it to The Custom Shop in South Austin. He said "It'll take me a week, I'm pretty backed up." I almost choked on my own spit and said "I was expecting you to say a month or 2, which would have been OK."

I've got one almost identical, 'cept I put a tort gard & chrome tele style knobs on it...

Here it is in a very dated & now incomplete "family pic"...

Jeff, I thought about putting a BAII, but it's a string-through-the-body and i really like that aspect of it.
