1000th Post Milestone

Post by rick_ovic »

It's been a little over two years since I joined this great place and I've made many wonderful friends.

Peter McCormack, I can't thank you enough for providing this place for us to share our love of Rickenbackers. I have learned so much from so many!

Words can't truly convey the significance of the RickResource Forum to me. It's become part of my life. These pictures tell the story better....

This is just a selection of the fun I've had in the past two years and just some of the friends I've made.

I have a motto....don't be one of life's bystanders...get involved! Image

And finally, I'd like to introduce you to Big Fatboy ('60 345F), the bigger brother to Little Fatboy ('60 335F). Big Fatboy will be representing me at MARF II. ImageImageImage

Cheers Everyone!

What a marvellous celebration. Congratulation on reaching 1000 Darren.

Picture say it so well, Trotty!! Image

What a wonderful set of snaps from some memorable times both for you and us lucky ones who have been fortunate enough to share some of them........ the memories flood back!

I share Greg's sentiments regarding the friendships made - absolutely priceless!

Congrats on 1000, mate! You know that we all appreciate your input here and your cheeky sense of humour makes it all so much more enjoyable. May there be many, many thousands more!!

Cheers back to ya!

Just noticed that's YOU with Chris Squire in the last two-head shot! Well done!! That's a shot to get framed and put on one's wall Image

Elys, that photo was taken immediately after Chris asked me for an autograph.

I happily obliged and signed a poster for him..."Dear Chris, Keep tryin', One day you'll nail that bass sound, Trotty" Image

Excellent! This is truly an amazing place! I am not making the mistake of commuting to SoCal 2007. I really only got to know you at the supper after.

Edit: I was about 5 feet away. I can vouch for the authenticity of Darren's autograph. I am sure Chris has it dispayed in a proper place!

Darren, congratulations on your 1000. Great pics too. When I was a kid we thought our little walkie talkies were hi tech. Just look at things now !!! The web has certainly made the world a much smaller place.

Again your help and advice is very much appreciated.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.
