Grindhouse

Post by lennon211 »

I just got back from a preview screening and I am still reeling. It was awesome and I loved every minute of it. I just wanted to post this here so that those of you feeling brave and wanting to go see a movie this weekend might consider this. It's awesome in every regard. It's also gruesome, violent, and every other thing usually associated with Tarantino/Rodriguez. It's obviously not for everyone. I enjoyed it. I'll say that much. Sorry for rambling, but my senses are still over-loaded. Also, very cool soundtrack as per usual with these directors.

For as much as I love blood and horror, I won't see this. I don't find Tarantino's movies amusing at all. Believe me, I have tried.

Like I said, it's not for everyone. One of the people that went with me walked out. I'm already going to see it again, so that I can pick up everything that I missed the first time. I'm still amazed that my fiance liked it.

I heard something about a fat guy eating a baby. I'm not looking forward to that, but I'll prolly see it anyway. To me anything Tarantino does is genius.

Tarantino and Rodriguez are my two favorite directors, and to have them in a double header... CANNOT WAIT!

I saw a preview to this double film yesterday and it looks totally awesome! Just have to kill some time until it comes out here in Australia!

I've seen it twice now. I am still stunned. It's sooo much fun to see all that they splatter onto the screen. I still think that the soundtracks are awesome, especially the one for Tarantino's half. For those of you familiar with Tarantino's past films, watch for the references and recurring items.

I noticed that Rodriquez' film in the preview looked VERY similar to From Dusk till Dawn. Which is a good thing Image

How is the "intermission" part?
