A little apology

Post by marc61 »

I have to apologize for my DCM ranting...

First I want to congratulate all those who've received their 4003DCMs. They look spectacular.

Just a little frustrated that I have two on order, and neither appears to be in site.

I promise not to bring it up again, and/or ruin anyone else's glory in getting their new prize.

Yeah what the heck, Marc! Give your dealer a few days to get stuff in! Sheesh!

It is hard to wait for something we love, let alone a Rickenbacker. Something to look forward to Marc.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I'm being patient, my wife thinks I'm handling this fairly well, for now.

I'm thinking about a road trip out to Clifton Park.

That's cool Marc,

You are among family!

I know what you are feeling and Peter said it best. Waiting is SO hard, ESPECIALLY when many here already have theirs in had. Our turn will come.

PERHAPS, did you read Andy O'Connor's thread? You MIGHT want to take up that lead and send an Email to a very special person and do the same if you are worried about your dealer. JUST A THOUGHT.

Andy's case is different. Not fair because the store changed hands that basses he paid for go to the new owner basically gratis.

There are other members of the forum involved in my situation, and right now it's just speculation that there's a problem.

Should know more early next week.

Hey Marc, try waiting two years for your order, like some of us. Talk about patients my friend. I could really let the fur fly but I'm to nice of a guy to do that and I still dont know when my bass is coming. peace Mitch.

Mitchell It's not about waiting for the bass, it's about getting screwed out of it...long story which hopefully won't have to be told.

One thing to keep in mind - good dealers and bad dealers both get published here.
